As a NASM-certified personal trainer with 15 years of experience as a chef, I’m ready to help you meet your fitness and food goals! My goal is to create a welcoming and judgement-free space for anyone and everyone who wants to exercise and eat great food. I specialize in strength training, barbell, and meal planning that tastes good. As a queer woman, I know first-hand that weightlifting can be an intimidating space to enter. Thanks to some friends who showed me the ropes early on in my journey, I ended up falling in love with it. Now, I strive to help others do the same.
I know that starting a fitness journey can be overwhelming and tough to know where to start. Whether you're just starting to work out or are looking to level up your current routine, my goal is to to make working out easier and more accessible to everyone. I especially love strength training and barbell, but am also comfortable designing a variety of programs to fit your particular goals and needs.
I offer in-person training sessions at the Eastside Kettlebell Collective in southeast Portland or if gyms aren't your thing, we can discuss other options. I also offer virtual online sessions.
When I started my fitness journey, I thought I was going to have to eat chicken and rice with broccoli without any flavor or "fat" in order to get fit. As a chef, I just couldn't do that. I decided to combine my experience in kitchens with my passion for exercise, and found a way to eat the foods and flavors I loved still complemented my fitness goals. I can teach you how to cook for your specific goals and create meal plans that still taste good. I want you to have your cake and eat it too.
